Investment Strategy

Our investment strategy tends to favor holding positions in the equity market with the expectation that over a long-term period (five years or longer), equities will generally outperform fixed income securities. Properly implemented, this approach allows us to participate in enhanced long-term performance while reducing portfolio volatility. Our objective is to deliver a long-term investment return that exceeds risk free returns while prudently managing portfolio risk.

We recommend investment in the following three general areas:

•  Mutual funds, index funds, and exchange traded funds
  
  
•  Individual securities such as stocks and bonds  
  
  
• Managed account programs

These three areas would be specifically structured to build diversification among asset classes, investment styles, and investment managers. This approach does not eliminate investment risk, but allows clients to reduce risk through investment diversification.
